  The People Center is Champlain's PR center, with a wide range of responsibilities. Some of the student employee job requirements include stuffing pay checks, labelings mailings, scanning and sorting old documents, being responsible for the weekly communication and blog post that goes out to the Champlain staff, and updating the Champlain College People Center website.   While our title is "Farmer", we do much more than care for the animals. At Davis Farmland, we care for and educate the public on Heritage breed and endangered farm animals. We are also a children's park, so we work to provide an educational, fun and safe environment. While our title is "Farmer", we do much more than care for the animals.   As a 4-H intern, we focus on the agricultural aspects of the museum. The female interns spent most of their time in the gardens, as that is most culturally appropriate for the interpreted time, and educated the public on gardening in the 1800's. We also spent time with the heritage breed cattle, often in charge of the daily milking demonstrations, and running the cheese making demonstrations.
