      Working with Theo Sturge (Sturge Conservation Studio) I was trained on the job and performed conservation cleaning and the restoration of the gilt leather room of the orphanage in Zierikzee. This involved performing surface cleaning on the gilt leather panels, taking them off the walls, reinforcing all the edges, restitching the edges and repairing splits to the surface.
