Writing Intern for the Nashville Children's Theater
-
May 2019 - Sep 2020
During my time with the Nashville Children's Theater, I worked to produce journalistic-style articles for both internal and external communications, writing for their blog, The Perch, and their 2019-2020 Annual Report. In this position, I worked closely with artistic director, Ernie Nolan, and had the pleasure to interview a variety of playwrights, composers, authors, scenic designers, costume designers, actors, and other individuals associated with the company and the productions I covered. I also completed individual research, sharpened my editing skills, and had the immense pleasure to see a variety of productions from the Nashville Children's Theater's 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons.
