    • Marriage And Family Therapist
      • Aug 2023 - Present

Masters level therapist providing mental health services to couples, teens, adults, children, and families. I utilize an integrative and compassionate approach, focused on developing real relationships with my clients. Therapy, in my eyes, only works when the client and clinician are both open to being changed by their work together. I believe everyone deserves to feel like the most authentic version of themselves, and therapy -- through the healing power of love -- is the best route there.

    • Shift Supervisor
      • Feb 2019 - Oct 2019

At Brew Haha, I began with "front register" shifts: greeting each guest, ringing up their order, and communicating coffee/food needs to the appropriate staff. In June 2019, I was promoted from from register to barista -- for this, I was required to take a "Coffee Quality" course through Brandywine Coffee Roasters and participate in 4 barista training sessions. Then, in August, I was promoted to Shift Supervisor. I was thus in charge of opening the cafe 4 times per week, preparing daily coffee specials, delegating tasks to other employees, and handling customer complaints. Although a barista job may sound unglamorous, I believe my work with Brew Haha taught me the value of consistent kindness, patience, and humility. Show less

      • Sep 2018 - Feb 2019

As a copywriter, I worked in collaboration with TWM art directors to create and develop campaigns for print, digital, web, and social media. I wrote headlines and body copy for various clients, including the nonprofit organisation EChO (Eradicating Childhood Obesity), the Italian Democratic candidate Nicola Zingaretti, and the international watch company Doodle. I also personally wrote the claims that are featured on company merchandise. In addition, as the only native English-speaking copywriter at TWM, I would edit and translate text into English. This includes pitches for international competitions, social media posts, and all the text on the English version of the company website. Show less

    • Student Fundraiser
      • Oct 2017 - Feb 2018

As a student caller/fundraiser, I called alumni, parents of undergraduates, friends of the University, and past donors to raise funds for all Johns Hopkins institutions. In addition, I received two weeks of extensive training in phone etiquette and persuasion skills, so that I could built positive rapor with donors before discussing money. The conversations followed a precise structure -- balancing persuasive statistics and asks with mannerly understanding. This position challenged my professionalism and eloquence, requiring me to think on my feet when addressing donors' concerns and adjusting my strategy for each individual. I also coded data about the phone calls and organized files. In my time as a caller, I raised over $5,000 in donations. Show less
