  Opt runs a toll-free phone line called Sex Sense that is a pro-choice, sex-positive, and confidential service. Their team of registered nurses, counsellors, and sex educators offer information and resources on sex, sexuality and sexual health, for people living in British Columbia and the Yukon, Canada.As the needs of the callers were evolving, the system that was being used to capture data was not evolving along with it. They wanted to be able to input relevant data, so that they could use it to effectively inform their funders, and provide continuous improvement to the program. With a UI redesign for their database, as well as an alternate budget-friendly solution in the form of available SaaS off-the-shelf softwares, we were able to improve the workflow of Sex Sense employees that adapted with the changes of the organization.
