The Academic Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Program Head across the many academic and operations functions in the management of the Business programs. Duties include administration support for the set-up of classes each trimester, working with Academic teaching staff to coordinate delivery of units and assisting with the pastoral care of students. • Update and maintain subject outlines • Update and maintain subject and assessment guidelines • Develop and maintain the assessment matrix • Liaise with lecturers are following the subject outline and assessment process • Ensure marks are recorded according to agreed procedures • Report to the Program Head and Dean on issues that arise in the day to day management of the academic program • Monitor student progress and attendance • Identify students at risk, determine support and • Provide students with academic counselling and administrative support • Update student records in Paradigm as required • Assess and provide feedback on the recommended text books in consultation with subject lecturer and Dean to ensure if changes are required thy .can be made • Identify and organise resources for the effective delivery of the Program including Software, Computing facilities, fieldtrips, Industry guest speakers, Practical workshops • Provide support on College Events • Provide Moodie support for the delivery of the face to face programs Show less
