Clean Twins mobile carwash was created at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Along with my business partner, our objective was to help out residents of the Toronto area by offering a premium service at the lowest prices in the industry. We did just that and within the first 14 days of operation, and with the use of social media advertising platforms such as Facebook ads and Kijiji, we were able to provide our service to 25 new clients and 35 vehicles. We sold out every single one of our time slots and ultimately brought in $4.5k in profits. The reviews we received from our customers were incredible. Having shutdown all operations since mid-August, we still receive to this day numerous requests for our service. This all happening months after our final newsletter stating our goodbyes. This venture was such a defining experience as we were able to widen our network, and build relationships based on trust with major corporate leaders in Toronto. It was my first taste of entrepreneurship, and it will not be the last. Dealing with customers sparked a surprisingly strong interest for further ventures, and I’m excited to see what comes next.
