Liem was an incredible Customer Success Manager at preezie, with who I feel fortunate to have worked with. He is empathetic, listens, and is a strategic problem solver who adds value to his clients. He has many superpowers, most notably asking quality questions and delivering strategic, thoughtful, innovative solutions. Liem's energy is contagious—a mix of soulful, upbeat & calm—making him someone people gravitate toward who adds sparkle to your day. He listens and acts on what he notices and hears—a critical skill in business that I find increasingly rare. I hope I get to work with Liem again in the future, and I recommend him—you'd be lucky if he is part of your team.

Liem is super passionate about his work and is a great communicator. We worked together during his time at Newcrest, launching the Newcrest Crowd. This was a very innovative digital initiative, and I was impressed at Liem's ability to generate change around this in Newcrest. I think his natural style of communication, and ability to articulate value certainly helped. Liem always seemed excited to take on new opportunities and run with them, and he can apply his skills to a diverse range of projects. I hope we work together again in the future!

Zwift is an online ordering startup based in Melbourne (think of UberEats, Deliveryhero and Seamless). My role as a technician was to ensure clients received the orders and customers received their meals 100% of the time. Here I learnt how to handle the pressure and heat. --Quick story below-- Picture this... it's 7pm on a Saturday night and the peak time of online ordering - people want their pizzas and take out dinner! The primary server crashes, and hundreds of online meal orders have not reached the client side. You try to reboot the primary server but it's not working. Luckily you can divert orders to a secondary server. Your clients (the restaurant owners) realise that the service is down and call in for help. The secondary server crashes too and all orders are converted to manual mode. This is when you call through the orders one by one - but there's 100s to do... The phones are buzzing with 8 concurrent calls from clients. And you're the only one in the office, as you always are, it's a weekend and you're working dinner service hours. Customer's have now arrived at restaurants to pick up their orders... but the restaurants have no records because the servers are down! The phone line is now buzzing non stop. "Take a deep breath and think," I say after swearing, "dedicate the most time to fixing the issue that will deal with the majority of the issues". I try and fix the servers while handling calls with the restaurant owners. Here I learnt how to prioritise and fix the root cause. I learnt how to manage our brand and deliver damage control. I learnt how to put out fires. I was 20 at the time. Show less
