I worked with Lian for nearly year on our program’s largest delivery team where he served as a QA tester. I immediately knew he was a talented professional with skills beyond his current role. During our time working together Lian became the defacto QA Lead for the entire program, a role he easily handled. While officially only responsible for managing the testing for our Scrum team, Lian took it upon himself to re-organize the program test plans, specifically the release regression test suite. His effort led to a reduction in the time spent hardening the product and delivering value to market, all while increasing the overall quality. Though I was only able to work with him remotely, his professionalism and positive ahead made it sometimes easy to forget we were not sitting side by side.
