       Increased real sales by $377k in 6 months by creating procedures to engage students between sale and class start.  Improved our business development team to have our BDM’s on the road more, which increased sales from BDM activity $160k in 8 months.  Created the induction program for the Careers Team (Sales Department). This cut the average induction time per sales person by 40%. More importantly, they hit their KPI’s on average 50% quicker.  Developed a progression model for staff to be promoted to more profitable areas of the business, whilst minimising the risk to the business during their training period. This resulted in sales staff being ready to convert at benchmark when they start selling the more profitable products, saving around $3million in lost sales. Show less

       In my 21 months, I generated over $11million in sales from Business Development activity, up from $1.6 million in the 2 years prior.  Helped launch four new products in Massage, Aged Care, Child Care and Fitness. Conducted industry consultation to establish beneficial commercial partnerships as well as recruited and trained a team to manage these relationships. This resulted in over 500 business partners being signed up over the four products in the first 12 months.  Created the induction program for the business development team cutting the average induction time based on my previous role down from 6 weeks to 3. More importantly, it had them achieving their KPI’s on average 2 months quicker.  Identified that the business was losing significant revenue from students not completing their programs in our Aged Care product due to not being able to obtain industry placement. By liaising with our business partners and students I was able to increase our placement percentage to 96% from 75%, increasing revenue by 27% for that product overall. Show less

       Created the agreement and sales process for implementing a new Trainer Experience Program (mandatory work placement for students). Successfully sold this to businesses as a valuable recruiting tool that would come to them at no cost. I obtained agreements from over 300 businesses during this period. This was a first for the industry at the time and created a strong USP for our business.  Expanded the Elite athlete program by approaching elite sporting bodies and clubs, this meant we had elite athletes from AFL, NRL, A-League and VIS completing our course in exchange for testimonials and endorsements.  Maximised the amount of government funding that our business received by improving the way my business development managers were incentivised. The new structure encouraged them to place more students in fewer facilities for their placement. This resulted in higher satisfaction from our closest partners as they spent less on recruiting and it resulted in 80% of our students being offered work upon graduation, up from 55% prior to implementing this program.
