Bio
Linda Hui Yang, PhD
Liam stood out in my class as someone with great analytical skills who can communicate very well with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. He was one of my students in the Intercultural Development (ICD) Programme designed to systematically develop Business students’ intercultural competence in UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Liam successfully completed the Advanced ICD Programme while manging his demanding one-year master study. He has demonstrated his open-mindness and empathy which are essential qualities to have in order to work effectively and productively in any teams, locations in the current globalized business world. I always enjoyed having Liam in my classes as he actively participated in the activities and discussions and showed strong ability to present in front of diverse audience. Liam would be an asset to any team and company that value diversity and inclusion.
Dorota Piaskowska
Liam has been one of the brightest, most diligent and reliable students I have ever had the pleasure to teach in my graduate-level strategy classes. He has shown a remarkable ability to apply even the most advanced of strategic analysis tools and approaches to solve complex company cases, and to do so with great accuracy and nuanced, mature insight. Liam’s commitment to quality work is second to none, as is his professionalism. Liam is also a great communicator and a natural when it comes to getting others around him willing and organised to achieve a goal. I have no doubt Liam will achieve a lot in his career and I am looking forward to seeing where it brings him next!
