Creating engineering drawings for Mechanical and Electrical, for manufacturing, internal uses, and customer drawings. Everything through Solidworks. Additionally participate in work regarding R&D processes, international and medical certifications, and light Mechanical design work. Working with professors, post docs, and graduate students on the construction and planning of the NeXUS laser facility. Working mainly with Autodesk Inventor 2020 to create and work with CAD files. Have designed many custom parts in order to meet the needs of the facitility. Past projects include modeling PVC piping and flanged connections for roughing pumps, creating custom racks to straddle the optical tables, modeling an optical chopper chamber, and stress analysis on metals and plastics.
