  As part of my course work, I completed a practical teaching placement consisting of 130 hours practical teaching experience. While on placement I worked as part of a well-coordinated diverse faculty. My role involved tailoring one to one learning support for students with learning difficulties , designing detailed and comprehensive lesson plans and solo teaching based on these plans across seven different classes, three different subjects and on four courses. In addition, I was responsible for designing assignments and I assisted with the marking of several assignments. I implemented methods for including students who have language or learning difficulties. I was also called upon to act as a substitute for absent colleagues on several occasions. In In addition I participated in college wide events such as Open Day, Christmas concerts and fundraising for various charities. Show less
