Liam is a highly efficient Cordinator, he works well in high pressure situations and with short times scales. We have worked together to plan and deliver large events.

Created an International Squad from scratch in a new and developing sport. 40 plus plus international players engaged in year one. Developed several female players from X League into women's rl all of who are training with the full Scotland women's squad with their 1st ever international due in 2022 Seen as an important part of rugby league development in Scotland Heading up the Scotland X League project and managing both teams at the X League world cup in England in 2022 Managed Scotland in the 1st ever X League international matches in 2021. September 21 vs England and November 21 vs Ireland. https://www.rugby-league.com/get_involved/play/x-league https://xleaguerl.com/x-league-at-the-rlwc2021/ This variant of Rugby XIII is a concept created by Des Foy (former professional player). Previously known as 'Eurotag', it has been used by various member nations of the RLEF. But with its new name, X-League (pronounced Cross League) it has been adopted by the RFL as an official variant of Rugby League. To be used as a tool for learning our sport and a way to increase participation rates. X-League is a semi-contact version of rugby, where all the principles of XIII Rugby are maintained, except the tackle which is replaced here by a "tag" on the ball by the defender. This practice has the advantage of facilitating the learning of the skills of our sport for those that want to play the full contact game, but it also enables the sporting and social development of people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels. This allows diversity during training, events and tournaments. https://xleaguerl.com/ Show less

I provided day to day coordination of 31 sports clubs with 50 plus sports teams. I was in charge of club accounting and finance management this includes assisting them in writing their budget for the year and strict management of their budgeting and accounting processes. I was the first point of contact and support for all St Mary’s Sports Clubs and external organisations for all club related matters. I was in charge of the associated sport club finances with a 400k plus yearly budget which has to be carefully monitored. I also had to write a monthly report for our student sport newsletter, alongside this I write a weekly fixture email to the vice chancellors and governors. I also coordinated St Mary’s annual varsity which this year was at home which was a multi-sport event that engaged over 2000 students from St Mary’s and Brunel. I organised St Mary’s annual sports dinner. This is an awards evening for 400-500 sports club members. This includes coordinating the event logistics and presenting the awards. I have built relationships with over 50 universities UK wide. I have key contact from admin staff to directors of sport. I have attended many of BUCS development events and seen first-hand how they function at their multisport events such as the annual BUCS nationals in Sheffield which I have attended and assisted athletes at for the last 3 years. This Job has given me considerable previous admin/venue management experience working and running a busy sport injuries clinic in Edinburgh, since 2003.In this role I was required to be the first point of call for any enquiries. I also had to deal with all communications and computer systems. Whilst at the clinic and in my current role I have to generate new leads for new clients and create new relationships with sports clubs and local areas. Both excellent communication skills and being highly organised are certainly qualities I possess along with attention to detail which in this case I feel would be of great importance. Also my top class people skills will make me easy to work with and very approachable. I am highly motivated and certainly do not have a problem working under my own direction and I always manage my time effectively. Duties included: Meeting the client’s needs, Booking appointments, taking phone messages, typing note from dictation, and filing. Customer care and front of house duties including following up new leads and invoicing. Show less
