Camp Counsellor
-
Jun 2016 - Sep 2016
In 2016, I took part in the Camp America program, working at B’nai B’rith Perlman Camp in Pennsylvania. During this program, my responsibilities involved being a camp counsellor, living with and caring for a group of ten, 11-year-old boys. I was also the camp woodwork teacher and fishing instructor. This role relied on me being an integral part of a team, being independent and employing problem solving skills, as well as empathy and compassion.
