  I started in Norfolk as a newly qualified teacher. The school had a Language College status and we were always trying new teaching methods. During my first year I was asked to trial an immersion group where form time, ICT and Spanish were entirely delivered in the target language. This proved to be very successful and this group took their GCSE Spanish two years early. In the absence of the Head of Spanish, I was given the opportunity to take over the role. This was a great opportunity to develop my management skills and work towards the next step in my career.
