Besides being a superb web and overall software developer (Lucas literally got "Strong Yes" across the board from EVERYONE in the Engineering team, which is a rare thing indeed: https://imgur.com/a/9utTrB2). I myself gave Lucas a "Strong Yes" because of his soft skills, strong communications skills, and passion for getting things done and making things better. Lucas has not disappointed and over-delivered once he stepped into the role: He was a champion of collaboration and bridged many gaps between our Fronted and Web developers and our Backend developers. He has innate curiosity that distinguishes him from an average engineer. He will not shy to get outside his comfort zone and learn the entire stack, experiment with new technologies and help our modernize and improve. He is humble and friendly, always willing to spend hours pairing with his fellow engineers to help them out debug any issue or generally mentor them on a topic they find challenging. He has been an ally to our QA team and improved overall quality of our code: he tests his code thoroughly and optimizes for readability. He provides constructive feedback to managers about what we should do to improve the lives of everyone on the team and advocates for his peers, which is something I value immensely and don't take for granted. It's been a pleasure having Lucas on my team and I would not hesitate hiring again when I have the opportunity.

Lucas was one of the few engineers I've worked with in my career that embodies both incredible intellect and a high level of business and contextual awareness. His motivation and focus was surpassed by no one. He was often assisting with clever solutions to solve complex issues and working around the clock to support the team to drive those solutions to reality. He was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend Lucas to anyone looking for an All Star!
