    • Penguin Random House - Jobhack
      • Feb 2020 - Feb 2020

In February 2020, I was chosen to participate in Penguin Random House's Jobhack programme for a day full of publishing related activities. Throughout the activity-packed day, members of different departments like Editorial, Audio, Marketing & Publicity and Design from various of PRH's imprints provided us with an insight of their daily tasks as well as valuable advice for our future publishing career. Being divided into different groups, I collaborated with other fellow aspiring publishers to pitch a new idea for an anthology to #Merky Books, to create a suitable marketing strategy for a Puffin book, and to redesign a title for a specific audience for the Clothbound Classics series, task where my team won a prize thanks to our creative collaboration. Thanks to this workshop and the guest speakers, I was reaffirmed of my desire to work and had a valuable and rewarding publishing experience.
