I have had the pleasure of working with Lexy Smith for the past 2 ½ years, during which she served as my supervisor and the Director of Learning & Development. As a 13-year veteran of our company, I have seen many changes take place during my tenure, but the biggest change I experienced was how Lexy was able to get our team to step back, reorganize, and (instead of putting out fires) focus our attention on determining and meeting the actual needs of our company. This was no easy task as it involved getting our executive team on board with the bigger picture as well. Her unique leadership skills also played a huge role in creating a cohesive team. When Lexy joined the company, she stepped into an already formed team with already formed responsibilities. Her confidence and positive nature pushed all of us to higher levels of competency and creativity. She takes relationship building seriously and it shows in the very open and productive team she has molded. Our working environment is open, enthusiastic, efficient, productive, and fun. She's amazing and we're lucky to have her leading us !

My experience working with Lexy was through the business and community development organization I led at the time. Lexy excels at external relations and effectively promoted her property and its residents within a larger mixed use community. She was an active member of the Marketing Committee for the Eisenhower Partnership. I experienced first hand her willingness to host business and community events at the Post Carlyle Square Apartments, participating in community and business networking functions and arranging for Post to sponsor community events. Further she is bright, savvy and personable and would be a valuable addition to any company.
