Student Energy is a global youth-led organization empowering the next generation of leaders who are accelerating the transition to a sustainable, equitable energy future. We work with a network of 50,000 youth in 120+ countries. As Student Energy's Partnerships and Resourcing Coordinator, I built and stewarded partner relationships and fundraising initiatives with the overarching goal of working with actors in the energy system to help them understand the value of youth and allocate more resources to youth-led climate and energy solutions.I was a vital member of the fundraising team responsible for developing a 3.1 million dollar budget and building relationships with 30+ collaborative, funding, and strategic partners. I hosted stewardship events with partners such as a roundtable on youth, employment, and the future of work in renewable energy with IRENA. I planned high-level events to build Student Energy's global reputation, including a youth-led masterclass on how to meaningfully engage young people in climate and energy decision-making at the Sixth Mission Innovation Ministerial. Examined the urban re-pedestrianization technique, the Superilla (Superblock), in the Poblenou neighbourhood of Barcelona, as part of a graduate field studio. Collected, analyzed and visualized observational data, hosted consultations with community activists and city officials, designed a set of design and policy proposals, presented the proposal in a public forum and published them in an online repository.
