Joined a young edtech charity in a new role with funding From Blackrock, McKinsey, Verizon and Microsoft as part of a significant scale up effort in the face of the pandemic. Clarified strategy, designed processes, co-authored a playbook, built departments and scaled the team by 5x to 60 including senior hires, launching four new offices, three new countries and various brand new programmes in the process. 97% of Generation participants graduated, while 80% of those who completed a program with Generation are in long term employment within three months. 84% of employers say that Generation graduates perform better on average. During my time Generation 6x'd its overall impact (in terms of young people in to meaningful employment) while laying the foundations for future growth, with a projected 10x impact in 2022 and over 1000 long term unemployed young people into well paid work launching meaningful careers.
