I directly manage recruitment for the call centre from beginning to end, including sourcing candidates, telephone interviewing, and organizing and running assessments for 8-12 people. This is highly critical for the success of the call centre to maintain and exceed their KPI's.It is also my responsibility to manage external resources with similar goals, and to support us on temporary employee needs. Balancing the need for numerous high quality candidates whilst maintaining low costs is one of the largest challenges or this role. Between 50% and 70% of the candidates are sourced directly at little to no cost.I am also responsible for sourcing and providing experienced tradespeople for self-employed installation vacancies around the UK, making judgements on these people without seeing them face to face can be difficult, but nonetheless it has been one of my biggest successes in this role.Other departments I have recruited or assisted with include; Finance, Customer Service, Management, Marketing, I.T, HR and Manufacturing, giving me a solid understanding of various industries and seniority levels. For all these vacancies it is necessary to manage adverts across all the major job boards, utilize marketing agencies, and liaise with senior management within the company. There is plenty more for me to learn and I am lucky to have the continuing training, support and mentoring offered to me on a daily basis.

In the outbound telemarketing team at Thomas Sanderson I learnt strong selling ability, being the first point of contact it was very important to represent the brand in a positive manner befitting the high quality and prestige of the brand. One of my biggest strengths as an advisor was identifying genuine needs in customers' homes and providing an ideal solution, which led to significantly higher revenue per month than my peers.Like any call centre it was very target driven, and hitting and exceeding weekly and monthly targets was critical in my advancement in to the recruitment team.
