I am currently working with APUC within its Institutional Procurement Service (IPS) as the Procurement Manager in development at Glasgow Clyde College. Within the IPS at GCC we provide a fully functional procurement service to the College, its stakeholders, and all service categories. I have gained experience working on time dependent strategic procurement projects across all of the colleges purchasing categories including ICT, Estates,, Professional Services etc. I have been responsible for early supplier engagement activities, conducting site visits, preparing tender documents, and liaising with external consultants. My role is to assist the College’s Procurement Manager in its strategic procurement activity, as well as taking the lead to support the colleges stakeholders on all operational purchasing activity. It is my responsibility to ensure that our stakeholders are engaging in compliant routes to procurement and advising them on Scottish Procurement Legislation and the college’s own Procurement Policy. Within APUC I am a member of the Communicating Responsible Procurement to Stakeholders working group. I collaborate with stakeholders from institutions across Scotland to develop policies relating to sustainable procurement. Show less
