Working as a Data Scientist I moved from account to account bringing along my experience as a Data Scientist to uncover patterns within client datasets and confirm hypotheses made by different teams. Depending on the data, systems and team I employed different methodologies ranging from building R-Markdown reports breaking down relationships identified by statistical models, to creating visualisations in various languages to present findings in a clear and meaningful way.Aside from the raw data analysis I also developed tools that have fast-tracked processes within the teams I've been a part of. I've developed visualisation tools, data importing & formatting tools. The languages used for these tasks tend to be written in Python but a number have been written in VBA for accessibility purposes within the team Show less

Graduate Blockchain Consultant & Developer

Aug 2018 - Nov 2018
This role focused on the development of Blockchains for private business networks employed by IBM's clients. Working with The Linux Foundation's Hyperledger Fabric, the team develop high quality solutions quickly and efficiently.By getting a strong understanding of the business network, we can identify relevant peers, select calculated nodes and write secure chaincode upon private channels to create Blockchains with the functionality, efficiency and speed to meet the client's needs. The rest of my time is either spent client-side, trying to understand the client's requirements through methodologies like Design Thinking workshops. Or consulting both internally and externally about Blockchain, trying to build a general understanding around the subject and how it can be applied Show less

• 5-week internship at a cash validation company programming in Python and translating code from C and Matlab • Wrote 6 data visualisation applications from scratch that could read in hyperspectral data (in-house .hsn files) from the note validation scanners. The applications visualise in different ways the returned data, displaying the note under exposure to different bands of light. These applications are currently being used company-wide such that all areas of business can view the data stored in each .hsn file without having previous knowledge of how to deal with binary files Show less
