Lewis worked at Firebox for 2 years and was nothing but a positive force. He's smart, highly capable, creative, energetic, self-motivated, honest, hard working and humble. He's an autodidact who was always willing to listen and iterate toward whatever was the best solution for FIrebox as a business and a brand. He will be sorely missed as a driver of brilliant UX and as the successful bridge between Tech and Design, he became. He's also decent in nets and quite good at the human flag/handstands.

I had the pleasure of working with Lewis at Firebox. He is the epitome of a brilliant UX designer and has set the bar for UX designers really high. I simply know that I will struggle finding someone as good as him again and I will always reference his skills and qualities as an example of what a UX designer should be. Lewis has deep understanding of human psychology and user research and has the creative skills to translate this user understanding into his designs. He's passionate about UX and aware of the latest best practices but is never a slave to them and tries to find the best solution, both to achieve the company's business objectives and also to create the best user experiences for the company's target audience/users. This is one of the most important aspects that differentiates Lewis from other UX designers, as he never takes best practices as a universal solution for all. Another great quality that he possesses is that he's not attached to his designs and he will iterate until he finds the ultimate solution for the users. I like to say that Lewis is ambidextrous as he's very creative but at the same time very analytical, organised and hard-working, which is a rare combination of skills. This makes Lewis very easy to work with as you never have to actually manage him or his workflow as he will be on top of it. It's safe to say that Lewis has been responsible for some of the most successful UX improvements on the Firebox website that have contributed significantly to the bottom line and he's been a real pleasure to work with. If he continues to develop his talent and maintains his levelheadedness, I believe that he could become one of the most sought after UX designers in the industry.
