Professional Soccer Coach in New York/New Jersey As a professional soccer coach my role was to Plan and deliver professional football sessions to all ages and abilities across New Jersey and New York. This would be from fun recreational programmes to ensuring technical and tactical development with my travel teams through their training sessions and games at the weekend. I coached both boys and girls’ teams while in USA as well as an EDP U16 team which means they are a level above just a regular travel side which is a good standard to coach. I had to ensure there was constant progression within the sessions as well as the players and if there wasn’t then I used my coaching knowledge and ability to adjust and understand how to motivate the players I was coaching and how I could meet their needs as a soccer player. I was involved with the running of tournaments in terms of helping on the day of the events ensuring it ran smoothly, collecting scores, arranging referees and giving out trophies and medals, this then attracts and makes the future tournaments bigger through good feedback and a well-run event.

Multi Sports Coach
-
May 2016 - Aug 2017
Multi sports coach in schools across Belfast and Lisburn Planning and organizing multi-sport sessions over the course of an 8-week programme. These programmes simply ensured fun and development, working on motor and co-ordination skills as well children having fun and hopefully encouraging them into playing more sport and joining clubs in sports such as football or hockey. These sessions were running after school hours as an after-school club for sport.
