Blair E. Schuyler
Hard Working. Professional. Mature. Thoughtful. Team Player. These are only a few characteristics that describe Levi as a person. I have been lucky and very fortunate to have supervised Levi this past year. From the very first day, Levi showed a willingness to make our KU Recreation Services team better every day. He came to us during the pandemic and through all the different onboarding mechanisms and "on the job" training, Levi took every situation as an opportunity. Levi was a huge asset for our program and know during his short time, he made us exponentially better. Levi possesses a maturity about him that is the foundation to who he is and why he will be successful for years to come. Although, my time working with Levi was short-lived, as he took a promotion in the industry, I learned as much if not more from him than he did me. It was an honor and privilege to serve as Levi's supervisor and know Ottawa Parks and Recreation is lucky to have Levi leading their parks and recreation program. He will be missed, but I also know that I have gained a lifelong colleague and friend in our industry. At the end of the day, that's all you can ask for.
