  I undertook two short term residencies with the Australian Army in 2000 and 2001. The first residency documented the work of a unit of army engineers in the Tiwi Islands, working on the AACAP project. The second residency involved foot, vehicle and boat patrol with Norforce regional surveillance unit, based in Darwin.   Residency involving travel across Iceland with my own mobile studio to work on a series of pieces based on the Icelandic Sagas. The mobile part of the project took place between June and July.
