The Lagoos project is dedicated to the presentation and study of Karl Benedikt Hase’s ‘secret’ diary, funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and hosted by the University of Innsbruck. Using digital tools, such as Transkribus-trained HTR models, as well as developing NLP pipelines to work with extracted texts, the team aims to output a digital edition of Hase's diaries, as well as a series of key studies on his work and life.
