  Participation in the Project entitled DEVELOPMENT, CHARACTERIZATION AND EVALUATION OF FORMULATIONS FOR THE TREATMENT OF FELINE AND HUMAN SPOROTRICHOSIS, whose objective is the development, characterization and evaluation of the effectiveness of a formulation containing itraconazole for the topical treatment of fungal infections, including sporotrichosis. Are performed the following activities: • Assistance in the theoretical development of project formulations; • Participation in the practical development of project formulations and carrying out dosing and characterization studies; • Learning about the use of equipment such as Ultra Turrax T-25 (Ika Labortechnik), high power ultrasound wave (Ultra-cell 750 W), UV-Vis Evolution 201 spectrophotometer (ThermoScientific), optical microscope Zeiss Microscopy with polarization of light equipped with Axio Cam digital camera and Brookfield rheometer; • Monitoring of analyzes using Zetasizer Nano; • Carrying out drug pre-formulation studies: - assessment of the minimum solubility in different excipients; - construction of the calibration curve for measurement by UV-Visible spectrophotometry. • Development and characterization of nanoemulsified systems.
