It is with great pleasure that I write this recommendation for Ms. Laura Leticia Cota-Cazarez. Ms. Cota-Cazarez was hired by B&H Education, Inc., dba Marinello Schools of Beauty in July 2006 as a Financial Aid Officer and was promoted to Corporate Specialist for Compliance and Training. Throughout this ten-year period until February 2016, Ms. Cota-Cazarez was extremely hard working and loyal. During her employment with our Company, she started as a school Financial Aid officer, was promoted to a manager position and then joined the corporate Financial Aid team. She worked in several different and important positions and became one of the key persons overseeing Compliance and Training for the whole department including Financial Aid Officers in 52 campuses and one centralized team. Ms. Cota-Cazarez worked for several years as a liaison for a contractor developing a new software to manage our Financial Aid processes. Throughout her tenure Ms. Cota-Cazarez always received excellent reviews from her supervisors and colleagues. I also knew and worked with Ms. Cota-Cazarez prior to 2000 at Educorp, Inc/Nova Institute of Health technology. Ms. Cota-Cazarez personal qualities are very suited to the corporate, office, or school environment; she is pleasant, conscientious, extremely reliable, highly motivated, and very well liked by everyone. I have had the pleasure to supervise and work with Laura Leticia Cota. Laura was first hired at Marinello Schools of Beauty in 2006 as a Campus Supervisor/Financial Aid Representative where she managed campus day to day activities including processing student financial aid and monitoring accounts receivables for the Paramount Campus. During this time, the Marinello Corporate Management Team was very impressed with her professionalism, can-do- attitude, dedication and hard work. Laura was consistently focused on driving results and customer satisfaction. In 2008, Laura was promoted to the Corporate Financial Aid Department as a Regional Financial Aid Manager/Trainer and later in 2015 was promoted to manage a call center as a Centralized Financial Aid Operations Manager. In both roles, Laura managed a team of 9-12 Financial Aid Representatives and supported as many as 31 campuses. Laura was highly considered for these roles due to: 1) her proven job performance 2) her ability to drive results and meet company goals, and 3) her effective leadership skills in managing teams. As a result of her work experience, Laura possesses an extensive knowledge of financial aid operations, receivables management, campus level training, and internal audit. In addition, Laura quickly adapts to change, is customer focused and executes as a top level professional. I highly recommend Laura as an employee in any capacity as I truly believe she would be a tremendous asset to any organization.
