Lifestyle photographer

Apr 2021 - Present
Lifestyle photography is a style of photography that aims to capture artistic images of people in real-life events or milestones. Inspiration and storytelling are the primary aims of this style, which incorporates both authentic and unposed photography. As a freelance photographer, I capture moments that include portraits, couples, graduations, intimate celebrations and more. Student Mentor
-
Mar 2021 - Dec 2021
The purpose of the STARS Mentorship programme is to help first-year students transition to university life by utilising the capabilities of senior students who can provide social and emotional support, while also assisting them in improving their academic performance. As a mentor, I was assigned to a small group of young ladies in their first year who was studying a course in the Humanities faculty, and I assisted them in setting goals, providing advice on-campus life, prioritising mental health check-ins and referring them to relevant student support groups at the University of Pretoria.

Freelance Logo Designer
-
Sep 2019 - 2020
Zintle iintokazi is a ‘Human Power Apparel’ made by South African women. Working as a logo designer for their brand extension has been quite a journey for a young, freelance designer such as myself. My responsibilities ranged from networking, negotiating project fees, discussing requirements, developing ideas based on a given brief from the client (Zintle iintokazi) to presenting solutions and completing final outcomes within a given deadline.
