As a mentor, I was assigned to a small group of young ladies in their first year who was studying a course in the Humanities faculty, and I assisted them in setting goals, providing advice on-campus life, prioritising mental health check-ins and referring them to relevant student support groups at the University of Pretoria.

My responsibilities ranged from networking, negotiating project fees, discussing requirements, developing ideas based on a given brief from the client (Zintle iintokazi) to presenting solutions and completing final outcomes within a given deadline.
