Chris Ossanna

During the 2 1/2 years I have had the pleasure of working with Les in the Engineering Dept. at Audio Research Corp., I have come to rely on his many and varied skills. Les approaches every engineering challenge with a positive "can do" attitude to problem solving which makes him a self starter and creative thinker. He is an out-of -the-box results-minded engineer who is willing to try unconventional methods to achieve results in a timely and cost-effective manner. Over and over when a difficult mechanical problem faced our team, Les would rise to the occasion and get us unstuck and moving forward again. His many skills include: * Solid Works CAD * Materials science and application * Thermodynamic test protocols * Fabrication and welding * Test jig design and construction * Vendor interface and communication * Leadership and team cooperation Les works well in teams and is both humble and has a great sense of humor. I unhesitatingly recommend him for any position which can utilize his capable skills. Chris Ossanna, Senior Engineering Technician, Audio Research Corporation.

I had the privilege of working with Les at Audio Research. His talents and experience in mechanical engineering and spatial reasoning were beyond that of many mechanical engineers that I've worked up until that point. In my opinion, one Les is able to fill the roles of of a handful of engineers with what he brings to the table in experience. He can fix create quality solutions and fix issues quickly. Often, those quick fixes were the best permanent solutions. Whether it was designing a new product, or helping keep the production floor moving, Les can do it all when it comes to mechanical engineering. He can see the whole process of design to product. Most importantly, beyond his natural mechanical abilities, Les is a leader. He makes friends easily and is always willing to help anyone. When I've been up against tight deadlines, Les was always there to help, encourage, and provide sound perspective and advice. Les likes to learn. You can find often find him looking for better solutions, trying to find new ways to improve designs with very limited resources and tight budgets. I can't think of one time where Les didn't come through for the group, he got his job done and always did what he said he was going to do.
