I note that I previously recommended Les and it is showing my husband, Mike Wilson's profile........I have no idea how that happened!! Apologies Les!! I reported to Les for 5 years as his Regional Sales Manager, Southern England. He was and still is, my true inspiration. He always had the knack of empowering his team to think/search deeper to find solutions to any issues that may have arisen. I always remember how he mentored me to approach business from a wider aspect whilst taking all the small things into consideration at the same time: skills I have put to good use ever since!I will forever be grateful for the opportunity he gave me to realise my potential. This was an unpaid role, helping to lead a trade organisation representing 400 member companies. It involves regular contact with Governmental bodies and with Politicians to establish trade friendly playing fields for our member companies to operate within. My role is to lead the Board of Directors to ensure we effectively and efficiently fulfill this role. We have a widely acclaimed code of practice that member companies must operate within, to protect the customer from rogue traders etc, as these customers often come from some of the most vunerable sections of our society.
