I started my own clothing boutique in January of 2014. As a self-taught entrepreneur I learned the selling, accounting, purchasing, and marketing techniques of a business. I acquired excellent customer service skills as well as business management skills. In addition to owning a store front, I ran two social media sites and the website for all online sales. I was responsible for hiring retail staff and models for the boutique. During this time, I incorporated a hand designed t-shirt line that was sold wholesale to other businesses. While working at the boutique, I was interviewed and featured on WAKA as one of Alabama’s Young Entrepreneurs.

I served as primary point of contact as a clinical administrative assistant within a maximum-security residential treatment facility. My responsibilities included acting as a liaison for and between management, personnel, and state agencies involving children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders. I was responsible for working in conjunction with the Alabama Department of Human Resources in the intake process of juveniles with behavior and mood disorders within the treatment facility.
