• The curatorial assistant for the Strobridge circus poster exhibition “The Amazing American Circus Poster.” • Completed all cataloging and data entry of 702 circus posters with the collections management software Vernon, which were uploaded to the museum’s online collections database. Completed inventory, accessioning and data entry of over 1,000 Rookwood watercolor drawings and hundreds of World War II posters. • Research skills used for contextualizing the posters with an artistic focus and humanities scope. Most research done through Genealogy Bank, academic journals, online databases like JSTOR, and fine art libraries. • Wrote short essays for exhibition catalogue and text labels for exhibition. Used catalogue’s copy editor and Director of Education for brainstorming and proofreading. • Multi-tasking ongoing projects and assisting other departments involved with the exhibition, like creating condition reports for conservation, loan records for registration and assisting the preparators with the exhibition layout. • Assisted and led educational programs concerning the Strobridge exhibit, including guides, tours and events. • Assisted the head of public relations with contacting the media about advertising and distributing press releases.
