Working within a small organization certainly has its challenges and rewards. Especially as marketing itself has changed over the years from direct mail and print ads to email blasts, web ads, websites and social media. • Over the years I've enjoyed the experience of working with different companies to develop websites for BWI. The first websites were simple in the 1990's and today the website is vast and complicated utilizing databases, Live Chat, links, resources and more. • I use Constant Contact now for email mailings and have been awarded the status of "All Star" for the last five years because of higher than average open and click-thru rates. • I oversee our SEM/SEO that is outsourced, working together to bring better leads to our sales staff. • Social media is interesting and exciting. After working with it for a few years, I turned it over to a Digital Marketing Manager to use to gain new customers and retain existing customers with our posts and interactions. • As a team we developed and re-branded our business as BWI "The Complete Prepress Solution". This entailed promoting BWI as a complete solution to printers, instead of just focusing on the equipment side of the industry. As with any small business, I wear many hats. I work closely with the sales staff, set prices, develop marketing pieces, purchasing and inventory management, work with our international suppliers, and more.
