Main PurposeProvide Tape Retrieval support to convert the media file in a specified format and transfer it in a Multimedia Storage Server or Network Attached Storage (NAS) as requested by the customer. Actively monitor all the remote server connections and maintain/update all the required reports by the client. Maintain a record of all the active servers/drives in the data centre and keep the NICE Systems Engineers and other management informed. Liaise well within a team in order to gain excellent feedback from the customer. Duties and Responsibilities• Actively monitor all the servers remotely and in data centre and manage tape retrieval process• To maintain physical tape drives and keep an updated record of the tasks processed. • To handover the reports and shifts actions/observations to the next shift for consistency in both shifts.• To perform NICE Query (SQL Server 2005) and test if file has successfully transferred in the NAS storage.• To maintain all the reports requested by the client and send daily updated reports to your project manager.
