Lesley is incredibly savvy, quick in response and extremely thorough in preparing and presenting information. Without her assistance, ability to organize dancers in a timely manner, and collected data, decisions on products could not be made.

    • Virtual Dance Competition Coordinator
      • Mar 2020 - Present

In the days following the outbreak of COVID-19 in the United States, the entire dance competition industry shut down for an unforeseeable amount of time. Impact Dance Adjudicators recognized the need for dancers to continue to compete and be recognized for their hard work in the 2020 season, and created a virtual, online dance competition which launched on March 18, 2020.In only 3 days, I assisted in planning and executing both a solo and group competition, to be held entirely online through video submission and remote critiques. Jobs included creating a pay structure, casting judging panels, creating rules and guidelines, generating interest via social media platforms, copy editing and creating content for the website.Since the inception of this new way of working, I have assisted in creating and executing multiple successful Live Stream events, planned three subsequent virtual Solo and Group Competitions, and secured sponsorship for awards from various dance-related companies.
