I assumed an associate position of Client Relationship Manager at JET in 2018. This role entails honing my communication and negotiation skills to interact with current and potential clients and other stakeholders, assisting the organisation to seek business opportunities and developing proposals. This role also allows me to engage with captains of industry around processes and impactful programmes JET can provide support to.

Executive Manager

As the Executive Manager for the Education Management and Implementation Unit, Lesley has excellent knowledge and understanding of the Education sector. Lesley is also integrally responsible for successful stakeholder management and new business development.Through his twelve years of senior management roles, Lesley has developed strong management and leadership experience. The positions Lesley held over the past twelve years equipped him well to work within the Educational and ICT sectors. He has extensive staff management experience and people skills within a multi-cultural team of individuals.In addition, Lesley has twelve years Senior Management Experience and has reported into the Executive Board structures throughout this period. He has 18 years professional experience as an Educator and Training Facilitator. Lesley has extensive experience in the field of HIV and AIDS and TB training as well as personal development. Lesley worked broadly within the youth sector where he was involved in youth development programs both locally and abroad which focussed on Inner City youth, vulnerable young people and Youth at Risk.Lesley is responsible for developing strong client liaisons and plan projects in line with the Funding needs. Within this portfolio he also manages high level Funder/ Donor relationships (these include the National Department of Basic Education, Department of Higher Education and Training, National Department of Health, Social Services, PEPFAR/USAID, and the Global Fund etc). Within this scope of responsibilities, he compiles various status reports for senior management and contributes to Board reports. Lesley is also responsible for advocacy and implementation of strategic programmes for various donor and government agencies.He has wide ranging engagements with National Statutory Bodies and academic partners and clients. Lesley represents the organisation on relevant external forums where he delivers presentations and papers.

I manage the Mindse Health Programme operationally. In this role I oversee the implementation of Projects across the Health Spectrum. I support managing stakeholder and Funder Relationships. The role also allows me to manage staff in various positions and I engage with training methodologies.The position also allows for personal growth and meeting role-players and decision makers within the Health and Education sectors.
