During my time in the industry, I have had the opportunity to work on two projects that aimed to improve user experience and provide clients with a powerful investment decision-making tool. In the first project, we integrated Personalized Search Prediction into a search engine to enhance the user experience on the Global Data Platform. To achieve this, we researched and utilized various Natural Language Processing techniques and high-dimensional vector similarity metrics, such as cosine similarity, Jaccard similarity, and Gaussian similarity. In the second project, I worked on a client-focused forecasting tool that could aid in investment decisions. I gained extensive experience in handling real-time data, including cleaning, exploration, and augmentation. Additionally, I learned how to implement Machine Learning models in a pipeline to be used in end-user software. Overall, these projects have helped me develop a range of skills, including data processing, machine learning, and natural language processing, and have inspired me to continue pushing the boundaries of technology in the future.
