    • Organisation Development & Learning Manager at Partners Life
      • Jun 2019 - Feb 2021

Partners Life provided me with an opportunity to introduce and implement several critical strategic L&D initiatives to assist with preparing the organisation for the future. I established the first leadership development programme, targeting emerging leaders through to General managers, this helped with further talent identification and succession planning. As a result of the RBNZ and FMA review of the financial services industry, specific conduct and culture areas for focus at partners life were identified. Working through the FMA recommendations I designed, developed and implemented - Good to Great. This framework assisted with aligning the vision and values of Partners Life to the customer experience; looking at the Financial Services Council code of conduct and standards Good to Great provided each business unit with the framework to review our processes - what to stop, start & continue to do and establish acceptable standards and behaviours that deliver great outcomes to customers. This programme provides Partners life with the framework to continually review and improve business processes and service delivery.Staff engagement and feedback had previously been solicited using IBMs Kenexa survey, the results improvement plans required a fresh approach. I coordinated the introduction of an alternative, after reviewing options available, Ask Your Team was introduced to Partners Life. This feedback platform was launched into the business and instantly transformed the way that the business viewed feedback, collaborated as teams and developed action plans. I successfully managed over 30 individual team surveys and pulse checks and have used the platform for wellbeing, health & safety, leadership and culture surveys.Coordinated the process for introducing a new LMS platform to Partners Life, selecting the preferred option (SAPLitmos) for employees. Working with the Retail Industry ITO Service IQ (formerly Retail Institute) this training was mapped to industry standards to be recognised as the foundation for Level 2 qualification for retail.Supplier product training was required in all brands, to ensure all locations received adequate training I implemented supplier training conferences for all front line operational department heads (staff). Working with some of the biggest names both locally and internationally such as Nike, Puma, Adidas, Breville, Sunbeam, Salomon, Laguiole, Brabantia, Electrolux. These conferences became part of the annual calendar for Briscoes Group.
