Leveraging his artistic talent and experience with solid data, then picking up on subtle nuances of customer behavior, Leroy emerged as a master of merchandising. His deep insight and careful timing optimized limited floor space to respond to seasonal trends and surplus inventory. At the time we worked together, he supported the flagship San Francisco store during its 50th year, doing over 100 million annually. Sometimes he even had a staff! At all times though, he was pleasant, professional, and dedicated. He brightened every day I spent there.
