I knew Leonie when she was Programme Assistant at ACORD. Leonie's hard work and dedication to learn and develop knowledge and networking around conflrict resolution oissues took her at different moments to assure the role of OIC for the Regional Conflict/Peace Building Coordinator. It is therefore logical that her hard work be rewarded with the position of Regional /Peace Building Coordinator. If some ACORD staff can be considered pillars in the organization, Leonie is certainly among them, as she contributed to the growth of teh organization in credibility on conflict resolution issues.
