      • Jun 2021 - Sep 2021

As an IT Technician at Bialik Hebrew Day Schools, I was responsible for providing technical support to parents and employees through phone, email, and in-person interactions. I troubleshot hardware and software issues, installed and configured new systems, and provided ongoing maintenance and support. This required me to communicate technical information to often non-technical individuals, as well as work in a fast paced environment switching between multiple tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines. In this role, I was also able to contribute to various projects, including the automation of a task to verify the status of parent emails as Google accounts using JavaScript and the Google Drive API. This involved writing a script to use Google's Drive API to share a document with thousands of emails without notifying them, and saving the emails which successfully accepted the share as valid Google accounts. Then, the script would quickly revoke the document, and update the spreadsheet containing the list of emails with their status as a Google account in order to make sure all parents had a Google account with the school to prevent any potential issues with the software used by the school. Through this project, I gained hands-on experience with JavaScript programming and using APIs, as well as the ability to successfully automate tasks to improve efficiency. I was able to make a significant contribution and demonstrate my technical skills and problem-solving abilities. In this role, I gained valuable experience in technical support and developed strong problem-solving and communication skills. Overall, this job was a challenging and rewarding experience that allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. Show less
