Analyst Developer

I've been working in a 10 people team, with 3 other interns in the Analytics and Insight team. We've laid the foundation for DQF (Data Quality Framework) to check and ensure high data quality all over Barclays. We've been writing more than 10k lines of code, I wrote 4k of them mostly in the backend section. I've been using technologies such as Python, Cucumber (Behave), Pandas, PySpark and many others. Coordinated through Jira, BitBucket and Confluence. In 8 weeks we've been able to deliver a fully working product capable of analysing hundreds of gigabytes of data, with a fully working UI and modulable and mantainable backend. We've won an internal competition against other teams of interns for the best project developed during the internship. I learnt a lot about Barclays way of working and different area, not only in my unit area.

I worked in a 24 people unit responsible for the 15% of the whole company revenue. I’ve been the only product manager for about 1 month, in a total working period of 3 months, because the team's product manager was on holiday I took care of the new PM and a new intern PM’s onboardings My team and I solved a major problem blocking about 6Mln time critical customer notification sendouts worth more than $75K on revenues with no effects on customer QA both on frontend and backend I worked in a 24 people unit responsible for the 15% of the whole company revenue. I've been selected to take part in this training endorsed and supported by CINI and the Italian Department of Defense. The project aims to recruit and train the next generation of cybersecurity professionals, providing courses and teachings held by professors and tutors from the University of Bologna. I also got good result in the final Jeopardy CTF organized as the final challenge of the training. Mostly worked in the SiComputer gaming brand, Aron. I’ve worked in the hardware department troubleshooting and configuring customer’s systems. Developed full-stack in-house softwares and solutions with Java, C++ and Google Cloud Vision APIs. I’ve been able to automate 65% of the work needed to complete a task concerning Microsoft Product Keys, saving up to 16 hours/month. Translated massive parts of their public website to the english version. Mostly worked in the SiComputer gaming brand, Aron.
