  Duties New Product Development SE1 smartgen 1500 kva PV Inverter Mechanical assembly Heat exchange section installed hardware using proper torques, cutting hoses to size and fitting Power supply sub-assembly/testing and installation Ensured proper feedback to engineers to improve the manufacturing and quality of Inverter Wire Harnesses development and design Designed wiring workstations able to handle complex harnesses as large as 16 by 8 ft Transferred drawing to wiring boards within 5mm tolerances end to end. Trained and lead wiring team of up to 8 people developing over 50 different harnesses using manual and semi-automatic crimpers and wire strippers. Molex, Harting, Deutsch etc. Followed IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards. Biggest harness would take 2 people 3 days to build Tested harnesses fit in inverter and updated documentation to ensure accuracy for Vendor. 1500kva inductor patented pending product Inventory control setting up Kanban system, shelving and tracking. Co-ordinated sub-assembly builds insuring main production line always supplied and running Pressure tested cold plates, manifolds and finished inductors using USON sprint IQ Show less
