  My research focuses on integrating physiological data into conservation efforts and natural resource management. Physiological experiments provide a mechanistic basis for understanding animal responses to environmental stress and open the door to predictive models of animal ecology. As global environmental change continues, predictive power for animal responses is increasingly needed, particularly in the context of natural resource management.
