      This has included the implementation of new governance and management structures, training, professional development, reporting and development of key risk indicators (both leading and retrospective). I have been the go-to person for risk management, and I have acted as a critical friend to the organisation.

      The outcomes included a new risk policy, new business continuity policy and processes, guidance, risk reporting and assessment incorporating assurance mapping, a community of more than 20 local leads, and a team of change managers confident to support on strategic projects.

      I have also been working with an organisation on the development and implementation of management information, financial planning, complete and accurate financial and tax records, and a two year plan for investment and growth. A member of the regional internal audit leadership team, and developed a unique approach to assurance risk management and assurance mapping. Supported strategy development, monthly performance reporting and team leadership. Acted as the de-facto head of internal audit for a number of organisations including global brands, and one with a turnover of £1bn. Responsible for leading and developing the work programme, delivering to expectations, presenting at non-executive meetings and owning senior relationships.
