3rd Place Regional Finals 2023 ImechE Design Challenge- UCL Representative

Represented UCL in the London regional finals of the ImechE design challenge 2023, placing 3rd overall and winning the best poster competition. The team consisted of six first year mechanical engineering UCL students. The challenge was to design (in CAD as well) and manufacture an internal pipe climbing device that would climb internally a 2.2 meters pipe, reverse at the top and climb back down while on a limited budget. We successfully designed and manufactured our unique device, keeping it lightweight and simple. We were given the opportunity to represent UCL at the regional finals after being in the top 2 out of 43 teams that competed to represent UCL. Show less
